Launched in 1926 by GM, Pontiac initially appealed to middle class America until after the Second World War years. In the late 1950s, it replaced the American Indian head gear emblem with an inverted red American Indian arrow tip and began a transformation to making faster and sportier cars targeting a younger crowd, eventually bringing us classic car models like the Firebird and the Fiero.

Sadly, Pontiac starts and ends as history. The nearly a century old car brand was discontinued by GM as part of its recent bankruptcy reorganization plan, a victim of poor corporate management by executives who were too complacent when gas prices were low.
